Featured Card Carousel

Expected Use:

The primary use of VN021 is to showcase featured content with imagery via a carousel. The Component features a headline, body copy and a carousel. The carousel contains minimum of one card or more. Each card contains the title of the featured content with an image above it. The entire card (image and title) is clickable and linked to the same page content. Adding four (4) content cards will display the left "<" and right ">" scroll icons on the top right section and this will enable carousel display of content.

Ideally used to display cards with product image, title or short description and link. 

Building the Navigation: 

There are only two field that require text in the VN021 collection are as follows. 

• Add Teaser Title - This is the main headline of your navigation component and appears at the top left of the navigation tile. Four (4) lines of text can be displayed. 
• Add Teaser Text - This is the optional body copy of your navigation component. Eight (8) lines of text or more can be displayed. 

You will need to add teasable Items as contents to the Items list in the VN021 and set the Layout Variant to "VN021 -  Featured Card Carousel". The title and image for each navigation card will all come from the Teasers added on the Items list. You need to have one or more navigation cards when building this component. There is no limit to the number of navigation cards you can add. 

For the teasable Item, you can use any content type such as External Link, Page, Download or Video and separate each content using a Teaser. If you enter 1 to 3 items, the card teasers are displayed. If more than 3 is entered, the left "<" and right ">" scroll icons automatically appears. Be sure that each of your Teasers have pictures associated with each.. Your teasable Item should contain the following:

• Add Teaser Target - This contains your teasable content type. 
• Add Teaser Title - The title or label of your featured card content that appears below the image. Hover on text highlights the Teaser Title to indicate that it is linked to a teaseable content. Maximum of two (2) lines can be displayed.
• Add Picture - This is the image on top of the Teaser Title.  Videos cannot be used in place of images.
• Add CTA - As the entire card (image and Teaser Title) is the CTA, there is no specific CTA or text needed to be set for this. Your item is the CTA target. 
• Set the Layout Variant to "Default".

Authors also have the option to pick and choose a background color for this collection under the "Background Color" Section on the Content tab.
