Expected Use:

This component is used to convey critical new software alerts or other important customer information. Green triangle and white exclamation mark identifies alerts. Blue-filled circle and white “i” identifies important information. Tiles typically displayed at top of page, for better customer visibility. Multiple tiles can be displayed per page, typically in date sequence (last dated tile is displayed first), in a single row. Tiles are carouseled when they exceed available page space (more than 3 tiles). Access with carousel dots and carrot. On selection, tile expands full-width in modal to display any additional information.

For this" component to function you must create "C059 - Alert Tiles". These can be dynamic from the query or added directly to the Items List for static alerts.

How to Build The SE007 Query List Component:

• On the Content Tab:
  • Teaser Title - This is the Heading for the upper left corner of the component
  • Teaser Text - not used in this component
  • Layout Variant - set to SE007
  • Items - optionally you can add C059 Teasers here if you want specific Alerts to show in the component. The primary use case will be to set the query in the Conditions Tab
• On the Conditions Tab:
  • Selection of Content Types - set to Teasers (check the box) as these are the C059 items you will create for this
  • Search Query - select "Subject" Tag. Add the Tags needed for your query. These are the tags you add to the C059 Teasers. This needs to be fairly unique to your use case so you do not unintentionally pull in other Teasers. You may need to request a new Tag through governance for your specific use case.
  • Sorting of the Search Results - set your sorting to the following (1) sort by "externally display date" which you will set in the C059 Teasers, (2) order should be "descending" so that the most recent alert shows on the left of the component, and (3) set the max to your desired state. If you wish for the carousel to function you need to set the items to 4 or more.

Expandable Alert Tiles

Content Type: Teaser

Expected Use:

This component creates the individual alert tiles shown in the SE007 Alert Banner component. These Alert Tiles are used to convey critical new software alerts or other important customer information. Green triangle and white exclamation mark identifies alerts. Blue-filled circle and white “i” identifies important information.On selection of an alert by clicking the CTA "View Alert", the tile expands full-width in modal to display any additional information.

Building the Component:

On the Content Tab, include:

• Teaser Title - The title of your alert headline. This is case sensitive and you can use ALL CAPS to stress an alert.
• Teaser Text - The body copy of the alert text.   
• Pictures and Other Media - No images or other media are required for this component.   
• CTA Label and Teasable Content - The CTA is created automatically from a bundle entry
• Layout Variant - set to C059
