Expected Use:

This Hero's primary use is to feature homepage or campaign content with a powerful marketing message. The Homepage Hero contains an intentionally simple yet powerful statement meant to convey Emerson business values. The copy represents the H1 headline for the homepage and should ideally include an important keyword such as “Engineering” or “Industrial Manufacturer.” A video, micro-graphic, or static image may be used in the background. This is Hero is used for a more cinematic web page experience.

How to Build:

Set your Hero Teaser Target to a page and limit the optional Teaser Target to one only.  Since this is a Hero, the Layout Variant of the collection is set to "Default". The Hero is styled by setting the Layout at the Page level for the Hero to H001 in the Placement section. Items are not in use for this component. The Hero Teaser should have the following components: 

• Teaser Title - The Title shown on the top left of the image.
• Teaser Text - The body copy shown below the title. 
• Teaser CTA  - The CTA button drives to current Emerson marketing campaign or message. The CTA is optional for this component. Use custom CTA Label for specific CTA text for target link. 
• Call-to-Action-Button - This is the boxed CTA centered under the Title and body copy. Set to "Custom or Linked-Call-to-Action" and add a Page for the CTA destination (other teasable content like External Link, Download or Video could be used here). The CTA Label comes from the Linked Item or as custom defined. If no Teaser CTA Label is defined, the CTA label defaults to "Learn More". 
• Pictures and Other Media
  • Add a picture or video Content Type to be displayed in the hero.
  • If using H001 with video option, include Linked CTA label with external link content. External link should include URL for video.
