Expected Use:

Used on emerson.com and extended sites as part of the global nav. This is the simplest of menu options. It does not include any additional menu options for fly-outs, headers, or divider pipes as part of the menu. It allows for menu items to be laid out in rows of 4 columns.

Each column can include up to 9-10 items (36-40 total). However, if you have items with longer character counts that wrap into two rows, fewer items will be available and authors must adjust the total items to accommodate the overflow. When an author has fewer items, the columns will balance so that if you have 8 items, for example, then 2 items will appear in each column. Authors may add up to two eSpots at the bottom of this menu type.

Authors cannot control the column usage of the items, they simply flow one after the other across the row and onto the next. If you wish to control the columns, you need to use one of the other menu styles (G014, G015).

How to Build the Menu:

Create a Collection and set the Layout Variant to G013 or G013b.

• Teaser Title - this is the title of the menu. (e.g. "Industries") This text will need to be translated. Important note: a link is not supported here.
• Items - The primary use case is to add Teasers on the Items List of the G013 or G013b Collection. The Titles of the Teasers will be displayed on the navigation. For G013b, the order of display depends on the author's preference while G013 displays an ordered list of lnks. A max of 40 links will be displayed. Note, you may add teasable content such as page, external links, downloads, and videos.
• Promotional Teaser - The menu allows for one or two optional "eSpots" that are activated by adding teasable content to the Promotional Teaser. This can be a Page, External Link, Download, etc.
