Expected Use:

To comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), emerson.com and other approved Emerson sites will display a cookie notification pinned to the bottom of the browser window. This message indicates to visitors how cookies are used on the site.

How to Build the Notification:

This is a simple component. You will create a Teaser with the following fields:

• Teaser Target - Not used
• Teaser Title - This is the title that starts off the cookie notification. It is shown in-line with the body copy but is bolded to stand out. It reads "How We Use Cookies:"
• Teaser Text - This is the body copy of the cookie notification. This text immediately follows the bolded Teaser Title inline across the banner. Since this is rich text you have some limited amount of formatting that can be done. You can use bold and include hyperlinks to internal or external content. It reads "We use cookies and similar technologies to improve our website, to personalize website content to you,  and to deliver advertising messages and offers on content that are relevant to you.  For more specific information on how we use cookies and to change your cookie preferences, see our Cookie Notice. WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION SUBJECT TO THE CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT. Learn more here.  Understand and don’t want to see this message again?  Click the X to close this notice."
