Expected Use:

The C054 Two-Column Table is typically used on the language selector page. It can be used in place of the C027 Table when two columns of tabular data are preferred. This component is used on interim language selector page and leads to the country local, or when re-purposed for other uses can drive to documents or web pages. The C053 and C052 are not intended to stand alone, although there may be a use case to do so. Approval from your Platform Governance is required to use any part of this component.

Building the C054 Component:

The main collection is the C054 Collection that contains all of the necessary Collections and Teasers to build the table. Set the Layout Variant to C054. The Teaser Title shows in the upper left corner of the component. You will add two Collections to the Items List of the C054 that define the two columns of information for the table. Each column is built separately in one of the two Collections in the Items List. These Collections have a Default Layout Variant.

Building each Column of the Table:

In each of the two "Default" Collections you will add additional Collections to the Items List. The number of Collections is equal to the number of groups you have in that column. Eg. if you have two groups such as North America and Europe, you will create a Collection for each of those two groups. These Collections will have a Layout Variant set to C053. There are no other fields used in these Default Collections.

Building the C053 Collections (groups):

In each of the C053 Collections you will add additional Collections to the Items List. The number of Collections is equal to the number of rows you have in that particular group. Eg. if you have three rows in a given group such as France, Germany and Spain, you will create a collection for each of those three rows. These Collections will have a Layout Variant set to C052. There Teaser Title of the C053 Collection is used as the group title.

Building the C052 Collections (rows):

In each of the C052 Collections you will add one or two Teasers (an External Link is also valid) to the Items List. The Teaser Title of the C052 Collection is the label for the row shown first on the left in the row. Each Teaser added to the Items List becomes the hyperlink text shown to the right of the row label. The Teaser Title of the Teaser (or External Link) is the label for the hyperlink shown. Your teasable content is the Teaser Target (usually a Page) of the Teaser or the URL of the External Link.
