Expected Use:

This component is a collection of teasers on Emerson brands that links to a brand's primary landing page. It could be used for other similar needs where you have a large listing of CTAs. The C041 is a combination of the VN004 jump navigation and the layout style available in the C031, which includes a headline, short snippet of descriptive copy and a right-aligned CTA button. Instead of using the C031, users who select the C041 instead can create a collection of teasers that will be stacked on the page. The jump navigation is alphabetically grouped so that a user can jump down to a brand they are interested in exploring.

Building the Component:

On the Content Tab of the C041 Collection, include a Teaser Title and Teaser Text to appear at  the top of the component which will show a title and body copy left aligned at the top of the component. CTAs are NOT used on this component, you will add them later in the Teasers you put in the Collections. Set Layout Variant of the Collection to C041. Unlike other typical components, the items are not teasers.  You will need to add Collections to Items List in this C041 component.The Collections you add will contain a list of Teasers in the Items List of each Collection.  

Building the Collections for use in the Items List of the C041 Collection:

For each collection you build, you will do the following: On the Content Tab, the Teaser Title is used to label the Jump Navigation anchored to the top, There is no Teaser Text or CTAs in the Collections. All information comes from the Teasers you will include in the Items List. Set Layout Variant to "Default". Select the "Enable Jump Navigation" checkbox to build an entry in the Jump Navigation at the top for each Collection. Add Teasers or teasable content types to the Items List.

For your Teasers (or teasable content):

Each Teaser or teasable content you add to you Collections will need the following:

• Teaser Target - When using a Teaser, you can add a Teaser Target as the CTA content.
• Teaser Title - The main headline displayed on your component. This becomes a clickable hyperlink to the CTA of the Teaser.
• Teaser Text - The body copy displayed on your component. 
• Pictures and Other Media - Images are NOT used. 
• CTA Label and Teasable Content - This is required for C041 as the CTAs links to a page or other media. For teasable content, use the Call-to-Action-Button section with the radio button selection of "Use Default Call-to-Action Label" if you wish to use the standard CTA labels available for your teasable content ("Learn More") or the radio button with selection of "Use both Custom & Linked Call-to-Action Label" where you will drop your teasable content along with entering your custom CTA label.
