Expected Use:

This is primarily used to add contact snippets to pages on which customers can be expected to search for contact information. On desktop, multiple contact us blocks are alternately stacked (2) to a row. Text may be configured to activate a phone call on selection. Number of lines of body copy are variable and dependent upon specific contact. Used for searching for contact information.

Building the C040 Component:

On the Content Tab, the Teaser Title, Text, Image and CTAs are not used for this component. Set the Layout Variant to C040. Create "Contact" content type and add contact information. There is no limit on the number of contacts to display. You  can drag and drop “Contact” content types into the Items section. This is different than the normal situation where teasers are added.

Building the "Contact": 

Steps on how to create the "Contact" content type:

• Open Library
• Select the “Create Content” button.
• Select “Contact” 
• Teaser Title is used. This refers to the contact name.  
• Teaser Text is not used.
• Enter the Contact Information.
  • Complete Address
  • Phone Number: This should be formatted as "+13146798984". Make sure that the phone number is configured to launch a mobile phone dialer. 
  • Fax Number: This should be formatted as "+13146798984".
  • Email Address: This should be formatted to "[email protected]". Make sure that your email address is set to open a new window. 
  • Website: This should be formatted to "www.emerson.com". This is automatically set up as an external link. 
• CTAs are not used on this component.
• There is no Layout Variant to select for the Contact Content type.
• There is no need to add Rich Media.
