Expected Use:

The primary purpose of C039 Sidebar Pull Quote is to highlight relevant copy from the case study and summarize the main body copy on the left rail of the page.  

The C039B Flexible Pull Quote with Icon & Optional Attribution Text provides an alternative, more flexible version of the C039 Sidebar Pull Quote. It can be used to feature interesting quote content (with or without accompanying attribution text) from the body copy of a press release or case study article, and highlight it as a visual callout within the main content area or the sidebar. 

Building the Component:

On the Content Tab, include a Teaser Title and Text. Images, Items and CTAs are not used for this component. Your Component should contain the following:

1. C039 Sidebar Pull Quote. This component can only be used with Case Study layout like L026, C034, etc. 

• Teaser Title - The mini headline in blue font on the Sidebar Pull Quote of the case study. 
• Teaser Text - This is the body copy taken from the main body of the case study. You can adjust the text size depending on how large you want the text to be displayed.  
• You can create an Internal Link Target (link to a content item in the Rich Text Editor menu) containing the link for C039 in the left column of the Case Study 1x2 Grid by typing a text label (the text label is for reference only and will not show in the component) and then adding an Internal Link. Drag and drop the C039 Collection on the Internal Link Target. Set the link to "Show Embedded". This is optional.
• Set the Layout variant to C039.

2. C039B Flexible Pull Quote with Icon & Optional Attribution Setup. The C039B is intended to be embedded within the C034 or C044 Rich Text component used to format the corresponding article content (single- or 2-column grid), and should only be used for L022A, L022B, L026, or L026B layouts.

• Teaser Title - The Attribution Name on the Flexible Pull Quote of the pres release or case study. This is optional.  
• Teaser Header - The Attribution Professional Details on the Flexible Pull Quote of the pres release or case study. This is optional.  
• Teaser Text - This is the body copy taken from the main body of the press release or case study. You can adjust the text size depending on how large you want the text to be displayed.  
  • The quotation mark icon displayed to the left (or top) of the pull quote content is intended to both create visual interest as well as take the place of the opening quotation mark character in the quoted text.
  • Authors are encouraged to omit using an opening quotation mark in their quote content (but include a closing quotation mark) to help avoid visual duplication.
  • You can create an Internal Link Target (link to a content item in the Rich Text Editor menu) containing the link for C039 and then adding an Internal Link. Drag and drop the C039 Collection on the Internal Link Target. Set the link to "Show Embedded". This is optional. 
• Set the Layout variant to C039B.
