Expected Use:
An information-dense component featuring a dynamic stock quote, evergreen content about Emerson’s dividend history, the latest quarterly results, and the next earnings webcast. This component is updated manually and should be evaluated on a quarterly basis in order to remain up-to-date. This component is currently approved for use on the homepage.
The stock quote should update in real-time during market hours, and display the day’s most recent closing price when markets are closed.
Building the Component:
On the Content Tab include a Teaser Title that will appear on top of the component for C036b. This component does not include Images. CTAs are set on the addtional teasers only. Set the Layout Variant to C036b. The first Item in your collection needs to be the "Stock Ticker" placeholder and 3 additional teasers are expected.
- To setup the first item, search for “stock ticker placeholder”. Drag and drop this placeholder into the list of Items.
- For each of the 3 additional teasers, it should contain the following:
- Teaser Title - This is the main headline of your teaseable item.
- Teaser Text - This is the body copy of your teasable item. This is optional, but best practice is to include some additional body copy.
- Pictures and Other Media - No images shown on the component.
- CTA Label and Teasable Content - CTA Label is required on the additional teasesable Item regardless of what type of content you are teasing: Page or External Link. For teasable content, use the Call-to-Action-Button section with the radio button selection of "Use Default Call-to-Action Label" if you wish to use the standard CTA labels available for your teasable content ("Learn More") or the radio button with selection of "Use both Custom & Linked Call-to-Action Label" where you will drop your teasable content along with entering your custom CTA label.
