Expected Use:

This Component contains three areas of information and illustrations/icons relevant to a particular customer experience topic with a short title and description. This is used before the footer at the end of a product category page to help users with related needs. While three Items are expected, this can be used with fewer Items. There is a similar version of this component on the PDP. The building of that component is controlled by the Catalog and Commerce.

Building the Component:

Nothing is required in the C015 Collection other than the teasable Items you are using for the content and setting the Layout Variant to C015. The title, body copy and image all come from the teasable Document you include in the Item list. It is expected that you will build this with Teasers, but other teasable content can be used (eg. External Link).

For each of the three Items of teasable content, on the Content Tab include a Teaser Title, Text and Image that will appear on the Component for C015. Three items should always be used and must include a Teaser Title and Text. Similar amount of Teaser Text should be used across the three items. Your Component should contain the following:

  • Teaser Title - The main headline of your component.
  • Teaser Text - The body copy of your component. This is optional, but best practice is to include some additional body copy
  • Pictures and Other Media - This includes the image shown on the component. Only Emerson Corporate icons should be used.
  • CTA Label and Teasable Content - As each icon is a CTA, there is no specific CTA or text needed to be set for this.

Note that authors have the option to display the Title or not by adding the 'showTitle' boolean value in the C015 Local Property Settings under the System Tab.  Authors can check it (make it true) for the title to show.
