Content Type: Collection

Aspect Ratio: 

• Image from teased items: 4:3 (x2)

Expected Use:

• A two-column text/image combination that shows only headlines associated with each tile/image linked to an article or other documents on multiple types of pages. Consider using when giving users the choice between two paths, such as between Automation Solutions and Commercial & Residential Solutions.
• It can feature two images or colored tiles. The headline copy should simply reflect the title of the document to which it is linked. A master headline can be placed atop the two tiles. When a video is featured in a tile, a video icon is placed on top of the corresponding image.

Building the Component:

The only field that requires text in the collection is the Teaser Title. This appears at the top left of the component. You will set the Layout Variant of this component to C012.

You can add any combination of 2 content types to the Items section on the C012. The Items should be standard teasable content such as Page, Video, External Link, Download or Teaser. Each item is linked to Generic Detail Pages or related child pages, documents,  articles, case study, or other media. Your Component should contain the following: 

• Teaser Title - There is no Title used, the copy comes from the Teaser Text.
• Teaser Text - The body copy of your component. This appears as a caption with white text atop an image. 
• Pictures and Other Media - This includes the images or colored tiles shown on the component. Videos can now also be added. 
• CTA Label and Teasable Content - As each of the content type is a CTA, there is no specific CTA or text needed to be set for this.  

You also have the option to modify the background color on the Background Color section under the Content Tab of the component. 

50/50 (x3)

Layout Variant: C013

Content Type: Collection

Aspect Ratio: 

• Image from teased items: 4:3 (x1) and 8:3 (Desktop/Tablet) 4:3 (Mobile) (x2)

Expected Use:

This is a two-column, 50 x 25 x 25 text/image tile combination that shows headlines associated with each tile/image linked to a video, article or other documents on multiple types of pages. It can feature three images or colored tiles. The headline copy should simply reflect the title of the document to which it is linked.

Building the Component:

The only field that requires text in the collection is the Teaser Title. This appears at the top left of the component. You will set the Layout Variant of this component to C013.

Content Type: Collection

Expected Use:

This is a two-column, 70/30 text/video tile combination that shows headlines associated with the tile and video appearing on the page. The tile is linked to a new page or other document. The video reflects a relevant topic about the category or subcategory, and will play on the page. The headline copy for each box should reflect the title of the document/video to which it is linked.

Building the Component:

The only field that requires text in the collection is the Teaser Title. This appears at the top left of the component. You will set the Layout Variant of this component to C014.

You can add any combination of 3 content types to the Items section on the C014. The Items should be standard teasable content such as Page, Video, External Link, Download or Teaser. Each item is linked to Generic Detail Pages or related child pages, documents,  articles, case study, or other media. Your Component should contain the following: 

• Teaser Title - There is no Title used, the copy comes from the Teaser Text

CTAs are not used in C012, C013 or C014 collections as each of the content type is an linked Item that contains a teasable content like a Page, Video, External Link, Download or Teaser that when clicked opens to a specific related child page, document, articles or other media option.
