Aspect Ratio:
- Image on base component: 3:4 / 16:9
Expected Use:
The Big Feature appears prominently on high-level, featured pages. Copy focuses on salient solution or product attributes and should tell a mini-story about solving a customer’s problem. Use download-able assets such as white papers and case studies to provide additional support material.
Building a Mini Story:
On the Content Tab, include a Teaser Title, Text and an Image that will appear at the left side of the component for C010 and right side for C011. One to two CTAs can be added to link to a Generic Details Page, Category Page, PDP, PDF or video. Set the following in the Collection to render the component correctly:
- Teaser Title - The main headline of your component.
- Teaser Text - The body copy of your component.
- Pictures and Other Media - This includes the image shown on either left or right side of the component. There is no picture caption. NOTE: Using cutout product shots set on white backgrounds is not appropriate for the C010-C011 component as it displays of too much white space between components.
- CTA Label and Teasable Content - This is required for the custom CTA text shown regardless of what type of content you are teasing. This can be any teasable content such as an External Link, Page, Download or Video.
- For a single CTA: This is entered in the Call-to-Action-Button section with the radio button selection of "Use Linked Call-to-Action Label" if you wish to use the CTA label from your teasable content or the radio button with selection of "Use both Custom & Linked Call-to-Action Label" where you will drop your teasable content along with entering your custom CTA label.
- For two CTAs: This is entered in the Call-to-Action-Button section with the radio button selection of "Use Linked Call-to-Action Label" if you wish to use the CTA label from your teasable content. You cannot use the "Use both Custom & Linked Call-to-Action Label" when using two CTAs.
On 2023, the Pop-up Notifications feature was added on CoreMedia. The intended use of this new functionality is to highlight major User Interface changes on the Emerson.com to customers. This feature is not a Layout Variant but can be setup and enabled on the Page level or collection level. C010 and C011 components were used as samples to illustrate that this feature can also be enabled at the component level. For details on how to setup and enable Pop Up Notifications, refer to C003 Author and Regression Pages.
