Aspect Ratio:

  • Image from the teased items: 640x800 px

Expected Use:

In this C001 component, the image appears on left, while the accompanying copy appears on the right while C002, the image appears on the right and the body copy appears on the left. The image should relate to the copy, which refers directly to a potential Emerson customer challenge within a specific service area, industry or application. C001-C002 are best used on the home page or in high-profile campaigns to highlight a story.  The next component after C002 should be C004

Building the Component:

Nothing is required in the C002 Collection other than the teasable Item you are using for the contents of the Homepage and setting the Layout Variant to C001 or C002 as you prefer. The Teaser Text, CTA Label and Image will all come from the teaser you will include in the Item list.

For the teasable Item you can use any teasable content such as a External Link, Page, Download or Video. As always, if you use a Teaser to separate your content (best practice) you can still set your Teaser Target to any of the valid Document types such as External Link, Page, Video or Download. Your teasable Item should contain the following:

  • Teaser Title - The main headline of your component.
  • Teaser Text - The body copy or small caption that supports the image displayed.
  • Pictures and Other Media - This includes the image shown on the left or right side of the component and Other Media such as the External Link, Page, Download or Video linked to the CTA relevant to the copy on the left side.
  • CTA Label and Teasable Content - The  CTA sends user to an industry, expertise or current campaign page. This is required for the CTA text shown regardless of what type of content you are teasing. This is entered in the Call-to-Action-Button section with the radio button selection of "Use Linked Call-to-Action Label" if you wish to use the CTA label from your teasable content or the radio button with selection of "Use both Custom & Linked Call-to-Action Label" where you will drop your teasable content along with entering your custom CTA label.
