为保障人员和设施安全，在您的现场识别潜在的有毒气体和可燃气体至关重要。一旦确定可能的气体威胁，就必须采取预防措施，利用气体检测和传感器技术监测可能泄漏的气体。利用集成式气体检测技术，有助于保护您的人员和财产免受危险气体的伤害，并同时保持运营。
重工业中常见的有毒气体包括：
其中，有些有毒气体很容易通过气味进行识别，而有些气体则不能。例如，硫化氢会散发类似于臭鸡蛋的气味，但一氧化碳却是一种无色、无臭、无味的有毒气体。接触到有毒气体时，接触的浓度或许已经达到威胁生命的程度。
暴露于有毒气体可能会造成不良后果，例如慢性病、眩晕、呼吸不匀、疲劳、恶心、头痛和眼刺激。对于某些有毒气体，达到一定的暴露程度甚至会导致死亡。
