As Vice President for Digital Projects and Innovation, Khaled Al Blooshi is responsible for formulating and delivering ADNOC’s digital transformation strategy. He leads a team of experts specializing in data science, robotics, artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to identify and implement innovations to enhance efficiency, safety and sustainability across ADNOC’s operations.
During his career at ADNOC, spanning over 20 years, Al Blooshi has held several senior engineering and maintenance roles, including leading the development of ADNOC’s flagship Panorama Digital Command Center from concept to operationalization.
Al Blooshi also serves as President of the UAE Section of the International Society of Automation (ISA). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA in Strategic Management from the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE.

30 years of professional experience in the construction, energy and power plant industry in O&M. Experience in leading large multi-discipline, multi-national teams within the natural gas, coal, biomass and energy from waste power generation sectors in UK, Europe and the Middle East. Driven towards developing leadership and accountability within organisations to embrace and develop continuous improvement and operational excellence for the business.

Position: Instrument, Control & Electrical Discipline Lead

35 years’ experience in the Instrument, Control & Electrical field working in supplier, contractor and end user organisations. Experience of pulp and paper, steel, food manufacturing, power and for the last 20 years oil and gas. Driven to digitise the organisation and achieve the best total cost of ownership from our instrument, control and electrical systems.

Position: Electrical and Instrumentation Head of Dpt. inside Corporate Engineering

12 years experience mainly in Oil&Gas downstream engineering activities, including FAT/SAT, commissioning and start-up.

28-years’ experience across a wide range of industries including Life Sciences, Chemicals, Oil and Gas, and Refining.  Currently overseeing a $3 billion business that helps some of the world’s leading companies leverage automation software and technologies to optimize operations, protect personnel, and reach sustainability targets.  John is a member of Emerson’s Leadership Team, which helps develop and guide the company’s global automation business strategies.

+20 years experience in Process Automation with Emerson. Leadership experience in Finance, Operations, Sales and General Management in Europe, Asia and North America.
Until recently VP/GM in the DACH region for Emerson engaging in the digital transformation for a more sustainable process industry, and now moving into the role of President Middle East & Africa.

26 years of experience in Automation, Safety, Project Management, OT, Digitalization and all topics close to this. Working in operations for 10 years responsible for I&E and OT. Being an internal consultant to improve the situation in our plants regarding cost and capacity situation. Now focusing on digitalizing our production plants and increasing the OT security.   

Bader Jeragh is a professional with a robust background in Design, Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Commisioning and Maintenance, holding a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. As an esteemed member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Society of Automation (ISA), Bader Jeragh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

A certified Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor and Lead Auditor, Bader Jeragh has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and adherence to industry standards. With a career spanning over two decades, Bader has been an integral part of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) since 2012, currently serving as a Team Leader Instrument Maintenance.

Position: Sr Engineering manager, Artificial Intelligence Initiatives lead – Onshore Business Line

I have 15 years of experience in research, engineering, project management and department management roles. In 2021, I initiated and currently lead an artificial intelligence team, which has since evolved into a global engineering team within McDermott's Onshore Business Line. My focus lies in bridging the gap between industry and research, automating repetitive work to support projects and enhancing engineering processes.

24 years experience across a broad set of Energy value chain, Electrical, Automation and Life science industries, helping customers stay ahead of their operational and enterprise performance challenges, with OT infrastructure and data solutions that deliver impactful improvements in throughput, reliability, safety, efficiency, emissions, and sustainability.

Experienced Instrumentation & Automation Manager with a demonstrated 35+ years history of working in the oil & energy industry. Proficiency in the design, installation and operation of control systems, oil and gas functional safety and other professional areas. Supports the achievement of strategic objectives of the company, mainly through the development of control systems and the appropriate use of modern solutions.

25 years experience as an engineer, project- and program manager in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry within the field of automation and instrumentation. Currently responsible for the implementation of a global automation strategy for our process control fleet, including standardization and optimization. Main focus areas are life cycle management, control system health optimization and cyber security improvement.

29 years experience within the Life Science Industry working with Instrumentation and Automation Systems. Broad spectrum of experience across large and small molecules in Operations, Brown and Green field projects and currently Technical Research and Development, focusing on exploring and implementing automation technologies to enhance and increase speed within drug development to commercial manufacturing.  

20+ years in change management consultancy and technology solutions to the Power, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Life Sciences, Automotive, Medical & Electronic Equipment and Semiconductors industries. I believe digital transformation journeys are successful when companies combine technology, process and people with strong emphasis on behavior and organizational change to realise operational improvements.

Position: Engineering Division. Instrumentation & Control department manager

30 years experience in instrumentation and control engineering, commissioning and start-up activities for Energy, Buildings and Oil&Gas sectors.

Position: Global Sourcing & Procurement I Instrumentation Category Manager

Working since 2013 for the Technip Energies procurement organization, I was involved in several major projects, mainly as buyer and as project procurement manager. I’m now the category manager in charge of instrumentation, trying to optimize our relationship with our supply chain instrumentation partners. I especially follow the new products and new solutions that can support the energy transition and, in particular, the GHG emissions reduction.

Paolo Argenta is currently Executive Vice President of Tenova Metals, responsible for the Upstream Business Unit which includes direct reduction plants and melt shops for steel and other metals, and TAT which includes all hydrometallurgical technologies in Tenova’s portfolio.
He has been working in the business of metallurgical plants (both for steel and mining) since 1995, covering different executive positions in Tenova and Danieli, not only in Italy but also in the USA, South Africa, and Thailand.
He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, gained at the University of Genoa (Italy). He now lives in Como (Italy) and has two children.

24 years of experience in electrical & automation/instrumentation domain and project management in EPC and end user organisation.  Activities ranging from building renovation over data centre engineering & construction to fertilizer industry for the past 18 years. Continuously looking for the optimal solution and improvement opportunities for existing E&A/I installations, the last years with a strong focus on predictive analytics also supporting other technical disciplines and operations in close collaboration with our digital core solutions department.
